![]() ![]() People will always go for speed that is the nature of some humans. They do not sell everything you need - intentionally. You think about it, it's odd that the devs even have sorcerer's selling everything you need. People want horns so they're going to do it quickly. The razors edge gameplay of never playing the main game is an odd proposition if not for an achievement My personal solo record is 26:25 for doomhowler.ģ days is speedrunning, 4 days is casual. With a coordinated team you can very casually do it in four days. What have I just described as high risk? I have explained to you how double hunter is actively less risk and actively more consistentĪnyways, I don't really find the game fun frantically trying to be done in 7 days, personally. The high risk approach is a bit meh to me, and I think will be mitigated with further releases. The entire tree sucks for hunter besides axe proficiency and double materials, but the double materials is such a boon I think it easily makes up for the rest of it. Compared to wardens cost decrease you come out ahead as a hunter, and if you have both characters on your team you no longer need to worry about material requirements because you have so much to work with. Double material drops applies to everything, and if you have upgraded tools the amount you need to gather to get upgraded armor and weapons becomes a paltry sum. This is made all the better by the axe proficiency, which is one of the best weapon types in this game. The decoy that spawns is alright, and helps you to continue along without fighting things or makes grouping enemies easy. It does have several bad options and most of the tree isnt great, but as long as you ignore bows and grab double materials, you are so far ahead its unbelievable. The Dragon, Megapithecus and Broodmother award all engrams that they normally would upon defeat.Im honestly a bit confused as to why so many people are ignoring this class, the list of things it gives is crazy, even compared to the warden. This is the final overall DLC map to be released before ARK 2.This is also the only map to also include the exclusive creatures from Ragnarok, Valguero and Crystal Isles (excluding Crystal Wyverns), and also the only one of two map to introduce all 3 wyvern and ice at the same map.The following creatures from paid DLC maps are not available on this map:.This is the first and only free DLC map to introduce majority of the creatures from all paid DLC maps (and access to all engrams that technically can only be accessed from said DLC maps), and only one to have the most number of bosses in one map, if mini-bosses are included.Black Pearls added to: Poison Wyvern Trench, Lightning Wyvern Trench.Element Shards added to: Fire Wyvern Trench, Molten Caverns, Mount Doom Caverns, Balheimr. This includes a 70% nerf to the amount of nodes in the Throat of Flames and redistribution of those to the following areas: Redistributed Element Shard/ Black Pearl nodes on Fjordur.Fixed realm teleporting after boss fight on Fjordur.Decreased Alpha dinos spawns on Fjordur. ![]() Added further wild creature spawns to Asgard biome on Fjordur.Fjordur map fixes including: auto TP zone, oil vein node fixes, lava damage volume, kill volume, wild spawn fixes, water volume in poison wyvern trench, fixes to trees to allow harvesting, fixed holes.Biome Teleport is now enabled by default in Single Player.Added other map learnable engrams to Fjordur (now matches Lost Island).Added Element reward to mini-bosses on Fjordur.Runes that allow the player to level-up by collecting them.More than 25 dangerous caves waiting to be spelunked.Īll items from the base game and paid DLCs are available on Fjordur.Enormous skeletons within Jotunheim and Asgard. All of the realms are accessible via The Hidden Worlds cave in Vannaland, or alternatively on official PvE servers, singleplayer mode, and servers with the UseFjordurTraversalBuff setting enabled, by holding R,, on foot. ![]()
